Why digging will never be the same again...
The versatile Rototilt®
is more or less standard equipment on all excavators used in Europe today
and is currently revolutionizing the North American construction industry
as well with it's ability to dig, tilt and rotate in a single movement.
This amazing excavator attachment is now set to take Australia and New
Zealand by storm.
A tiltrotator (aka Rototilt and Steelwrist) is a hydraulic attachment/tool
which can be used on most
excavators, and backhoes between 3-30 tons. A tiltrotator is mounted
between the stick and the bucket or implement so that the excavator bucket
or implement can be rotated through 360
degrees and tilted +/- 40 degrees, in order to increase the flexibility
and precision of the excavator. It basically functions like a "wrist of
steel". Rototilt lets you easily manoeuvre around, over, to the side
or underneath all sorts of obstacles. It greatly reduces the need for
constant, time consuming repositioning and manual assistance, making excavation and
grading much faster and hence more cost effective. It is easy to operate around
or under obstacles, and for any type of ground contouring. The unique
combination of continuous rotation and side tilt lets you approach your
job from any angle and in tight work areas.
You have to see it to believe
A tiltrotator can best be described as a wrist between the arm of the
excavator and the bucket (or whatever other tool is fitted to the
excavator tool). With its integral quick attach and rotary swivel,
tiltrotators can also use extra hydraulic functions to power and
manipulate other worktools such as a breaker, grapple or an auger, which
can be attached to the quickcoupler on the tiltrotator, dramatically
increasing the machine's utilization on the jobsite.
The Rototilt unit broadens the possibilities for all excavators and increases
you profitability as a contractor.
The Rototilt's rugged construction, combined with materials of the highest
quality, ensures very reliable and durable products. The one-piece, cast
rotor housing, hardened telescopic cylinders and oil-filled rotor housing
guarantee long service intervals and a long life.
Rototilt units are available to in a complete range of models for machines from
1,5 to 30 tonne capacity.
